PopJisyo offers an online translater, targeting English, from Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. It's more or a "pop up dictionary" than a translator, though... you can inspect character compounds. Works in Mozilla... isn't restricted to IE/Win. (Hmm, I notice that 什么, shenme, or "what", is handled as two separate characters rather than as a compound... odd.) (And for what it's worth, Babelfish has a reliable Chinese -> English online translator... WorldLingo has worked for me sometimes, but has balked at other times.)
There may be multiple versions of the ISB Film Database online (I haven't worked through all the text on various sites yet)... this link goes to a listing of the songs in various classic Bollywood films, and contains lyrics in romanized Hindi. I was able to follow along with the song "duur desh se koii saperaa aayaa" in the 1959 film "Kavi Kalidas" here. (I'm not certain this isn't in Tamil or some other language rather than Hindi... it's late, and I'm tired, but I wanted to bookmark this resource here).
