... hmm, another observation on this documentary... two of the main characters described here suffered from their lack of knowledge of other ways of life... a young country girl was kidnapped and sold as a bride and could not imagine such insensitivity existed... a young man left a rural village but could not handle the cold temperatures and isolation in Beijing. Knowledge of the outside world could have helped greatly in each case. If it's actually the case that even poor rural villages can text through connected mobile microprocessors, then this may be a very, very beneficial thing....
